Harlequin Song
My good friend Logan has put together a totally incredible
project. You may be tantalized to do some justice to his hours
of dedication with a glimpse. After all, it is rather spellbinding...
New York City, NY - October, 2019
Manhattan has always been a symbol for America; in better times
of its power, magnificence and influence. Now it is a reminder
of all that has been lost.
Huge areas of the city have been abandoned by the city’s
sadly diminished public servants. In these areas, others have
been quick to capitalize on the void left by law, service and
government. Gangs dispense crime and justice at will, and the
populace lives in constant fear.
There are also the Open. Though born like any one of us, each
has come to possess an ability beyond human capability. Each
is as individual as their gift, and they have banded together
under the first of them, Calliope, to save who they can from
death, or worse, in the city they love.
But where they go, they are followed by the others. Each with
power to match their own, these masked villains are everything
that their counterparts are not. They sow discord, rage and
ruin indiscriminately.
Someone has just awakened to the knowledge that she has gained,
or earned, or been given one of these abilities; that she now
is one of The Open. What it is, and what she will do with it,
remains to be seen…

Party Arty on Main Street, Noho
On the evening of Friday, 6/30 there is a cool little party
at the cozy little Gallery TK at 114 Main Street in Northampton.
Josh the "organizer" (the term should only be applied
loosely) will be playing with his band Michael Jackson's
Nose. Contributing artists and friends will be there, many
from Hampshire, and many from whereever.
The art is the result of a gathering in the gallery. In the
span of a few hours, a bunch of people collaborated and and
created all sorts of wild words and images.
I'm intrigued, myself.
